Fisher-information susceptibility for multiparameter quantum estimation
Noise affects the performance of quantum technologies, hence the importance of elaborating operative figures of merit that can capture its impact in exact terms. In quantum metrology, the introduction of the Fisher information measurement noise susceptibility now allows to quantify the robustness of measurement for single-parameter estimation.

Ultrastrong TEMPO‐Oxidized Densified Bamboo via Interface Decoupling and Hierarchical Toughening
This study develops TEMPO‐oxidized densified bamboo that achieves ultrahigh strength and toughness by decoupling rigid hydrogen bonds into reversible van der Waals interactions. TEMPO oxidation reorganizes the cellulose hydrogen‐bonding network, facilitating energy dissipation via reversible interactions, thereby establishing a general strategy to ...

Quantum Fisher information and its dynamical nature
Abstract The importance of the Fisher information metrics and its quantum generalisations is testified by the number of applications that this has in very different fields, ranging from hypothesis testing to metrology, passing through thermodynamics.

Quaternary topological BiSbSe2Te are synthesized and demonstrates a broad spectral band photoresponse, ranging from infrared to terahertz and to millimeter waves, with a particular excellence on detection of low quantum energy terahertz photons. The observed photoresponse is attributed to the excitation of plasmonic nonequilibrium electrons originating

Mutual information bounded by Fisher information
We derive a general upper bound to mutual information in terms of the Fisher information. The bound may be further used to derive a lower bound for the Bayesian quadratic cost. These two provide alternatives to other inequalities in the literature (e.g.,

Quantum parameter estimation with many-body fermionic systems and application to the Hall effect
We calculate the quantum Fisher information for a generic many-body fermionic system in a pure state depending on a parameter. We discuss the situations where the parameter is imprinted in the basis states, in the state coefficients, or both. In the case

Quantum Enhanced Sensitivity through Many-Body Bloch Oscillations [PDF]
We investigate the sensing capacity of non-equilibrium dynamics in quantum systems exhibiting Bloch oscillations. By focusing on the resource efficiency of the probe, quantified by quantum Fisher information, we find different scaling behaviors in two ...

Bimodal modulation of nitric oxide in endothelial cells is achieved by light‐sensitive polymer nanoparticles. In dark, P3HT/PEDOT:PSS NPs boost intracellular ·NO, upregulate both endothelial and induced nitric oxide synthase, and drive a metabolic shift toward glycolysis.
