Quantum Indistinguishability for Public Key Encryption [PDF]
In this work we study the quantum security of public key encryption schemes (PKE). Boneh and Zhandry (CRYPTO\u2713) initiated this research area for PKE and symmetric key encryption (SKE), albeit restricted to a classical indistinguishability phase ...

Measurement-based quantum computing with a spin ensemble coupled to a stripline cavity [PDF]
Recently, a new form of quantum memory was proposed. The storage medium is an ensemble of electron spins, coupled to a stripline cavity and an ancillary readout system.

SECURITY OF QUANTUM KEY DISTRIBUTION [PDF]
Quantum Information Theory is an area of physics which studies both fundamental and applied issues in quantum mechanics from an information-theoretical viewpoint. The underlying techniques are, however, often restricted to the analysis of systems which satisfy a certain independence condition.

Long-lived and multiplexed atom-photon entanglement interface with feed-forward-controlled readouts
The quantum interface to generate entanglement between a flying photonic qubit and a stationary qubit is a key functionality for the quantum internet. The authors demonstrate a multiplexed quantum interface that stores three long-lived spin-wave qubits ...

Quantum Key Distribution Networks: Challenges and Future Research Issues in Security
A quantum key distribution (QKD) network is proposed to allow QKD protocols to be the infrastructure of the Internet for distributing unconditional security keys instead of existing public-key cryptography based on computationally complex mathematical ...

Extending Quantum Error Correction: New Continuous Measurement Protocols and Improved Fault-Tolerant Overhead [PDF]
Quantum mechanical applications range from quantum computers to quantum key distribution to teleportation. In these applications, quantum error correction is extremely important for protecting quantum states against decoherence.

Quantum Authentication with Key Recycling [PDF]
We show that a family of quantum authentication protocols introduced in [Barnum et al., FOCS 2002] can be used to construct a secure quantum channel and additionally recycle all of the secret key if the message is successfully authenticated, and recycle part of the key if tampering is detected.

We report on in-lab free space quantum key distribution (QKD) experiments over 40 cm distance using highly efficient electrically driven quantum dot single-photon sources emitting in the red as well as near-infrared spectral range.
