Chemically Accurate Prediction of CO2 Adsorption Thermodynamics in Metal–Organic Framework CALF‐20: Complementary Ab Initio Modeling and Grand Canonical Monte Carlo Simulations

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
Ab initio thermodynamics and GCMC simulations reveal a cooperative two‐step CO2 pore filling mechanism in CALF‐20. The study captures adsorption energetics and loading‐dependent structural changes, reproducing experimental isotherms with chemically accurate predictions.

Models in Decision‐Making Under Risk and Uncertainty

open access: yesJournal of Economic Surveys, Volume 40, Issue 1, Page 304-320, February 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper systematically compares dominant frameworks for modeling decision‐making under risk and uncertainty, evaluating their theoretical trade‐offs and practical relevance for economic research. We establish key criteria for model selection—including predictive accuracy, descriptive realism, computational tractability, and ecological ...

Classical Causal Models for Bell and Kochen-Specker Inequality Violations Require Fine-Tuning

open access: yesPhysical Review X, 2018
Nonlocality and contextuality are at the root of conceptual puzzles in quantum mechanics, and they are key resources for quantum advantage in information-processing tasks.

Interplay of quantum resources in nonlocality tests

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Nonlocality, evidenced by the violation of Bell inequalities, not only signifies entanglement but also highlights measurement incompatibility in quantum systems.

Quantum nonlocality and quantum dynamics

open access: yes, 2002
Latex2e/RevTex4; 5 pgs; submitted to Phys.Lett.A. Sec.4 removed and superseded by quant-ph/0207042. Sec.3 now includes argument on equivalence of "remote preparation" to "projection postulate", and a well-behaved nonlinear example for ...

An Epsilon‐Near‐Zero‐Based Nonlinear Platform for Ultrafast Re‐Writable Holography

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 2, 27 January 2026.
We show that an unstructured, sub‐wavelength thick epsilon‐near‐zero material, such as ITO, can be efficiently used for ultrafast re‐writable holography over a broad bandwidth range. We showcase two powerful applications of our scheme, that is, spatial structuring of light and optical computation.

Experimental Fiber-Based Quantum Triangle-Network Nonlocality with a Telecom AlGaAs Multiplexed Entangled-Photon Source

open access: yesPRX Quantum
The exploration of the concept of nonlocality beyond standard Bell scenarios in quantum network architectures unveils fundamentally new forms of correlations that hold a strong potential for future applications of quantum communication networks.

Nonlocal advantages of quantum imaginarity

open access: yesPhysical Review A
Quantum imaginarity and quantum nonlocality capture the essence of quantumness of a physical system from different aspects. We establish a connection between the imaginarity and quantum nonlocality in any two-qubit states. Based on the imaginarity $l_1$-norm and relative entropy, we first derive complementary relations among the quantum imaginarities ...

Simultaneous all-versus-nothing refutation of local realism and noncontextuality by a single system

open access: yesResults in Physics
The quantum realms of nonlocality and contextuality are delineated by Bell’s theorem and the Kochen–Specker theorem, respectively, embodying phenomena that surpass the explanatory capacities of classical theories.
