Quantum Phase True Random Number Generation for Secure Sustainable 6G Communication
2025 International Conference on Wireless Communications Signal Processing and Networking (WiSPNET)Random numbers are the foundation for cryptographic protocols including encryption and key generation This work presents the design and evaluation of a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) leveraging quantum phase gates in IBM Qiskit, specifically S ...

Quantum Random Number Generation From Fiber Guided Single Photons
Frontiers in Optics + Laser Science 2025 (FiO, LS)We demonstrated a QRNG using single photons from a quantum dot coupled to an optical nanofiber. The system generates certified random bits through path-encoded qubit states verified by NIST statistical tests.

EFFICIENT QUANTUM RANDOM NUMBER GENERATION USING QUANTUM INDISTINGUISHABILITY
Fluctuation and Noise Letters, 2013In this paper, we propose a quantum method for generation of random numbers based on bosonic stimulation. Randomness arises through the path-dependent indeterministic amplification of two competing bosonic modes. We show that the process provides an efficient method for macroscopic extraction of microscopic randomness.

Numerical Simulation of Quantum Random Number Generation in Silicon Nitride Microresonators
2024 IEEE Silicon Photonics Conference (SiPhotonics)An all-optical quantum random number generator using a degenerate optical parametric oscillator based on silicon nitride is numerically investigated. A phase-sensitive gain with an extinction ratio of 20 dB is obtained for the bi-phase state. Furthermore,

Quantum-Mechanical Random-Number Generator
Journal of Applied Physics, 1970For generating the numbers 1, 2, … M in random sequence, an electronic modulo-M counter is used, driven by the pulses from a high-frequency pulse generator. If the pulse train is interrupted at a random time, then the counter stops at random in one of its M possible states, producing thus a random-number modulo M. The random time is the time at which a

Secure quantum random number generation with perovskite photonics
Quantum WestIn the field of cryptography, it is crucial that the random numbers used in key generation are not only genuinely random but also private, meaning that no other party than the legitimate user must have information about the numbers generated.

Generation of correlated quantum random number sequences with bright twin beams
Applied Physics LettersQuantum random number generators play a vital role in securing communication and encryption. In the present work, we have produced bright twin beams using four-wave mixing in a double-Λ configuration in rubidium-85 vapor and generated two strings of ...
