Microresonator-Based Quantum Random Number Generator
Advanced Photonics 2017 (IPR, NOMA, Sensors, Networks, SPPCom, PS), 2017We demonstrate quantum random number generation at 2 Mbps using binary phase state generation via degenerate optical parametric oscillation in a silicon-nitride microresonator. Such a system can potentially scale to rates > 1 Gbs.
