W+W− production at the LHC: NLO QCD corrections to the loop-induced gluon fusion channel
We compute the NLO QCD corrections to the loop-induced gluon fusion contribution in W+W− production at the LHC. We consider the full leptonic process pp→ℓ+ℓ′−νℓν¯ℓ′+X, by including resonant and non-resonant diagrams, spin correlations and off-shell ...

Recent milestones from STAR: new developments and open questions [PDF]
In these proceedings, an overview of recent STAR results on selected topics is presented. These results utilize Au+Au collisions at various energies, and are aimed at understanding the properties of QED and QCD, characterizing the quark-gluon plasma, as ...

Transverse (spin) structure of hadrons [PDF]
Parton distributions in impact parameter space, which are obtained by Fourier transforming GPDs, exhibit a significant deviation from axial symmetry when the target and/or quark are transversely polarized.

QCD Evolution of Nuclear Quark-Gluon Correlation Function [PDF]
We summarize the results on the next-to-leading order (NLO) calculations of transverse momentum broadening in semi-inclusive deeply inelastic e + A scattering (SIDIS) and Drell-Yan dilepton production (DY) in p + A collisions. The corresponding transverse momentum weighted differential cross sections are shown to factorize at NLO.

Quark-gluon correlations and Color Polarizabilities [PDF]
We discuss the present status of the twist‐3 matrix element in the spin srtructure of the nucleon and describe two proposed experiments that will improve on the precision of the present measurements of the twist‐3 and twist‐4 matrix elements for both the proton and the neutron and consequently will improve on our knowledge of the “color ...

Probabilistic Neural Computing with Stochastic Devices
Modern computing assumes that materials, devices, and circuits will be operated in a fully deterministic manner, providing predictable and reliable outputs, with any desired random behavior re‐introduced in software. This perspective describes how the integration of tunable stochastic devices into neuromorphic computing architectures can allow future ...

Squeezed and Entangled Gluon States in QCD Jet
Theoretical justification for the occurrence of multimode squeezed and entan-gled colour states in QCD is given. We show that gluon entangled states which are closely related with corresponding squeezed states can appear by the four-gluon self ...

T-odd quark–gluon–quark correlation function in the diquark model [PDF]
We study the transverse momentum dependent quark-gluon-quark correlation function. Using a spectator diquark model, we calculate the eight time-reversal-odd interaction-dependent twist-3 quark distributions appearing in the decomposition of the transverse momentum dependent quark-gluon-quark correlator.
