Aplicacao de Equacoes da Dinamica da Cavidade ao Modelo de Sacolas da Fisica de Particulas Elementares

open access: yesVetor, 2007
As equacoes da dinamica da cavidade para formacao de bolhas em fluidos podem ser aplicadas na analise dos modelos de sacola da Fisica de Particulas Elementares.

The B Meson Decay Constant from Unquenched Lattice QCD [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We present determinations of the B meson decay constant f_B and of the ratio f_{B_s}/f_B using the MILC collaboration unquenched gauge configurations which include three flavors of light sea quarks.

Heavy Quark Fluorescence [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2010
Heavy hadrons containing heavy quarks (for example, Upsilon-mesons) feature a scale separation between the heavy quark mass (about 4.5 GeV for the b-quark) and the QCD scale (about 0.3 GeV}) that controls effective masses of lighter constituents. Therefore, as in ordinary molecules, the de-excitation of the lighter, faster degrees of freedom leaves the

Search for the QCD Critical Point with Fluctuations of Conserved Quantities in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions at RHIC

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
Fluctuations of conserved quantities are predicted to be sensitive observables to probe the QCD phase transition and critical point in heavy-ion collisions.

The Structure of the Hadron-Quark Combustion Zone

open access: yesUniverse, 2019
Hadron-quark combustion in dense matter is a central topic in the study of phases in compact stars and their high-energy astrophysics. We critically reviewed the literature on hadron-quark combustion, dividing them into a “first wave” that ...

Combined search for the quarks of a sequential fourth generation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Results are presented from a search for a fourth generation of quarks produced singly or in pairs in a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 inverse femtobarns recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2011. A novel strategy has been

Heavy quark solitons [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1993
We investigate the heavy baryons which arise as solitonic excitations in a ``heavy meson" chiral Lagrangian which includes the light vector particles. It is found that the effect of the light vectors may be substantial. We also present a simple derivation which clearly shows the connection to the Callan-Klebanov approach.

Proton internal pressure distribution suggests a simple proton structure

open access: yesJournal of the Mechanical Behavior of Materials, 2019
Understanding the origin of quark confinement in hadrons remains one of the most challenging problems in modern physics. Recently, the pressure distribution inside the proton was measured via deeply virtual Compton scattering.

Hadron–Quark Combustion as a Nonlinear, Dynamical System

open access: yesUniverse, 2018
The hadron–quark combustion front is a system that couples various processes, such as chemical reactions, hydrodynamics, diffusion, and neutrino transport. Previous numerical work has shown that this system is very nonlinear, and can be very sensitive to

Signals with six bottom quarks for charged and neutral Higgs bosons

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
In extensions of two Higgs doublet models with vectorlike quarks, the decays of vectorlike quarks may easily be dominated by cascade decays through charged or neutral Higgs bosons leading to signatures with 6 top or bottom quarks.
