Field‐Programable Dynamics in a Soft Magnetic Actuator Enabling True Random Number Generation and Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Complex dynamics, often avoided in electromechanical design, can enhance soft robotics. We develop durable magnetic soft actuators operating in tunable dynamic regimes, enabling random number generation, stochastic computing, and time‐series prediction.

Convex Functions with Respect to a Mean and a Characterization of Quasi-Arithmetic Means

open access: yesReal Analysis Exchange, 2004
As pointed out in section 1, the author considers the functional equation \[ f[M(x,y)]=M[f(x),f(y)], \tag{1} \] and the functional inequalities \[ f[M(x,y)]\leq M[f(x),f(y)]\text{ and }f[M(x,y)]\geq M[f(x),f(y)\tag{2} \] (with misprint in the second inequality).

Inequalities on several quasi-arithmetic means

open access: yesTamkang Journal of Mathematics, 2012
Inequalities on several quasi-arithmetic means are established by using convexity and concavity.

Jensen type inequalities on quasi-arithmetic operator means [PDF]

open access: yesScientiae Mathematicae Japonicae, 2011
As a continuation of our previous considerations about the operator order among quasi-arithmetic means [Linear Algebra Appl. 434 (2011), 1228-1237], we study this order with a di erent condition on the spectra. As an application we gave the order among some means. Also, we give similar results for F-order.

Experimental Study on the Enhancement of Heat Transfer Performance in Sintered‐Core Heat Pipes Using CuO Nanofluid

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study presents the design and construction of an experimental system for evaluating the thermal performance of heat pipes, using sintered‐wick heat pipes charged with CuO nanofluids. The device used in this study is a sintered‐wick heat pipe, in which the liquid return is driven by capillary forces within the porous wick structure.

Strongly MφMψ -Convex Functions, The Hermite–Hadamard–Fejér Inequality and Related Results

open access: yesAnnales Mathematicae Silesianae
We present Hermite–Hadamard–Fejér type inequalities for strongly MφMψ -convex functions. Some refinements of them and bounds for the integral mean of the product of two functions are also obtained.

Comprehensive DFT Analysis of FeSi and RhSi: Structural Stability, Electronic Contrast and Transport‐Optical Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This comprehensive density functional theory analysis investigates the structural, electronic, optical, mechanical, and thermoelectric properties of FeSi, c‐RhSi, and o‐RhSi. Results reveal distinct electronic and optical contrasts among the materials.

A variant of Jensen–Steffensen's inequality and quasi-arithmetic means

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2005
A variant of Jensen-Steffensen's inequality is proved. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the equality in Jensen-Steffensen's inequality are established. Several inequalities involving more than two monotonic functions and generalized quasi-arithmetic means with not only positive weights are proved.

On a lattice-like property of quasi-arithmetic means [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2020
We will prove that in a family of quasi-arithmetic means sattisfying certain smoothness assumption (embed with a naural pointwise ordering) every finite family has both supremum and infimum, which is also a quasi-arithmetic mean sattisfying the same smoothness assumptions.
