The (Quasi-)Baerness of Skew Group Ring and Fixed Ring

open access: yesAdvances in Pure Mathematics, 2011
In this paper, the (quasi-)Baerness of skew group ring and fixed ring is investigated. The following two results are obtained: if R is a simple ring with identity and G an outer automorphism group, then R G is a Baer ring; if R is an Artinian simple ring with identity and G an outer automorphism group, then RG is a Baer ring.

Design and Performance Analysis of BCH Codes Construction Over Eisenstein Local Rings Zpsω

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
A systematic study of BCH codes construction over Eisenstein local rings Zpsω for p ≡ 2(mod3), giving novel structural information to the coding theory, is known as a systematic code study. The rate of code learning, the error‐adjusting program’s potential, and the number of words in the code words are the key factors in determining how well the codes ...

Skew Hurwitz series over quasi Baer and PS-rings

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2012
In this paper, we consider some properties of rings which are shared by the ring R and the ring T = (HR, σ ) of skew Hurwitz series. In particular we show that:1) If R is a ring with char(R) = 0 and σ is an R -automorphism such that σ (e) = e and the ...

High flying adored: How CEO narcissism influences firms' responses to above‐aspiration performance with risky organizational change

open access: yesStrategic Management Journal, Volume 46, Issue 13, Page 3152-3181, December 2025.
Abstract Research Summary Research on performance feedback presents conflicting views on how above‐aspiration performance influences organizational change. Some studies argue that it constrains change due to a lack of organizational motivation, while others suggest that it enables change by expanding managerial discretion.

A Deep Learning Framework for Pg/Sg/Pn/Sn Phase Picking and Its Nationwide Implementation in Chinese Mainland

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 2, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract Accurate seismic phase picking is critical for earthquake monitoring, tomography, and early warning systems. While prior deep learning models have achieved high performance on benchmark data sets, their applicability in real‐world, continuous waveform scenarios remains limited—particularly for phases beyond Pg and Sg. In this study, we develop

GL‐algebras in positive characteristic II: The polynomial ring

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 131, Issue 6, December 2025.
Abstract We study GL$\mathbf {GL}$‐equivariant modules over the infinite variable polynomial ring S=k[x1,x2,…,xn,…]$S = k[x_1, x_2, \ldots, x_n, \ldots]$ with k$k$ an infinite field of characteristic p>0$p > 0$. We extend many of Sam–Snowden's far‐reaching results from characteristic zero to this setting.

How Population Structure and Nest Membership Shape Pathogen Patterns in Bumble Bees

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 34, Issue 22, November 2025.
ABSTRACT Host density, genetic diversity and social groups are key factors influencing pathogen transmission in wildlife populations, but their interactions remain poorly understood in insects. Islands can provide natural laboratories with distinct populations that vary in density and genetic diversity, whereby dense, genetically homogeneous ...

Green banks versus non‐green banks: A financial stability comparative analysis in terms of CAMEL ratios

open access: yesInternational Journal of Finance &Economics, Volume 30, Issue 3, Page 2536-2573, July 2025.
Abstract This study examines green and non‐green‐banks from a financial stability point of view and specifically whether there are any discernible performance differences between the two groups. Using the supervisory ratios namely CAMEL variables, and employing panel data techniques (random effects model) and a global panel data set of 165 banks from ...

Distribution of follow‐up sessions influences determinations of skill maintenance

open access: yesJournal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Volume 58, Issue 3, Page 547-559, Summer 2025.
Abstract Maintenance refers to the persistence of behavior change over time after some or all instruction has been discontinued. The distribution of follow‐up sessions can affect the frequency of practice opportunities in the absence of ongoing instruction and determinations of maintenance based on how often performance is assessed.

Biomass‐Derived Carbon Nanomaterials: Synthesis and Applications in Textile Wastewater Treatment, Sensors, Energy Storage, and Conversion Technologies

open access: yesCleanMat, Volume 2, Issue 1, Page 4-58, April 2025.
Biomass Sources, synthesis techniques, structures, applications, and contribution toward SDG goals of biomass‐derived carbon nanomaterials. ABSTRACT Plant life has dominated this planet from the beginning of time. With over 82% of biomass (BM) coming from plants, primarily trees, plants are the dominant form of life on Earth.
