Quasi-cyclic Codes of Index 1.5

open access: yesCoRR, 2015
We introduce quasi-cyclic codes of index 1.5, construct such codes in terms of polynomials and matrices; and prove that the quasi-cyclic codes of index 1.5 are asymptotically good.

Structure and performance of generalized quasi-cyclic codes [PDF]

open access: yesFinite Fields and Their Applications, 2017
Generalized quasi-cyclic (GQC) codes form a natural generalization of quasi-cyclic (QC) codes. They are viewed here as mixed alphabet codes over a family of ring alphabets. Decomposing these rings into local rings by the Chinese Remainder Theorem yields a decomposition of GQC codes into a sum of concatenated codes.

Skew quasi cyclic codes over 𝔽q + v𝔽q [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this work, skew quasi cyclic codes over [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] are considered. The generating set for one generator skew quasi cyclic codes over [Formula: see text] is also determined. We discuss a sufficient condition for one

Undrained heating effects on monotonic shear behaviors and critical cyclic stress ratios of deep-sea sediment

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao, 2023
A series of temperature-controlled triaxial tests are conducted on the deep-sea sediment from the Western trough of the South China Sea. The undrained heating effects on undrained shear strength, pore pressure and critical cyclic stress ratio are ...

Some results on quasi-cyclic codes

open access: yesInformation and Control, 1969
Summary: In this paper a class of linear error-correcting block codes is investigated. These quasicyclic codes are closely related in structure to cyclic codes although they are not nearly as well understood. It is shown that an important subclass of the class of cyclic codes is almost equivalent to quasicyclic codes.

Multilevel structured low-density parity-check codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) codes are typically characterized by a relatively high-complexity description, since a considerable amount of memory is required in order to store their code description, which can be represented either by the connections ...

A Flexible FPGA-Based Quasi-Cyclic LDPC Decoder

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
Low-density parity check (LDPC) error correction decoders have become popular in diverse communications systems, owing to their strong error correction performance and their suitability to parallel hardware implementation. A great deal of research effort

Quasi-isomorphisms and quasi-cyclic graphs [PDF]

open access: yes
We consider (directed) graphs. A graph morphism f : G -> H is called a quasi-isomorphism if each morphism from a cyclic graph C_n to H can be lifted uniquely along f, i.e. if (C_n,f) : (C_n,G)_Gph -> (C_n,H)_Gph is bijective for each n > 0. A subgraph is

Spectral Analysis of Quasi-Cyclic Product Codes [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2016
This paper considers a linear quasi-cyclic product code of two given quasi-cyclic codes of relatively prime lengths over finite fields. We give the spectral analysis of a quasi-cyclic product code in terms of the spectral analysis of the row- and the column-code.

One generator quasi-cyclic codes over [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we study quasi-cyclic codes over the ring R = F-2 + uF(2) = {0, 1, u, u + 1} where u(2) = 0. By exploring their structure, we determine the type of one generator quasi-cyclic codes over R and the size by giving a minimal spanning set.
