AbstractOne of the most important problems of coding theory is to construct codes with best possible minimum distances. In this paper, we use the algebraic structure of quasi-cyclic codes and the BCH type bound on the minimum distance to search for quasicyclic codes over F5, the finite field with five elements, which improve the minimum distances of ...

Material‐Induced Nuclear Deformation Controls Chromatin Architecture in Adipose Stem Cells
Tuning cell and cytoskeleton mechanics modulated nuclear shape and heterochromatin organization in ASCs. Distinct cytoskeletal architectures induced nuclear morphologies from oblate to prolate ellipsoids. Large elongated cells with a structured actin cap exhibited high nuclear strain, driving nuclear envelope deformation and heterochromatin ...

This study presents the de novo design and directed evolution of a mirror‐image D‐protein inhibitor targeting human interleukin‐4 (IL‐4). The engineered molecule exhibits nanomolar binding affinity for IL‐4 and effectively inhibits IL‐4–mediated signaling.

Quasi-twisted codes as contractions of quasi-cyclic codes
Let \(\ell\) be a positive integer. A linear code \(C\subseteq \mathbb{F}_q^{m\ell}\) is called a \(\lambda\)-quasi-twisted (\(\lambda\) -QT) code of index \(\ell\) and co-index \(m\) if it is invariant under the \(\lambda\)-constashift of codewords by \(\ell\) positions.

Geometry and connectivity are complementary structures, which have demonstrated their ability to represent the brain's functional activity. This study evaluates geometric and connectome eigenmodes as biologically informed constraints for EEG source localization.

Skew Cyclic Codes Over ℤ4 +
This paper investigates the algebraic structure and properties of skew cyclic codes over the finite chain ring $R = \mathbb {Z}_{4} + u\mathbb {Z}_{4}$ , where $u^{2} = 0$ .

β‐Adrenergic Signaling Promotes Anti‐Tumor Immunity in TP53‐mutant Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma
β‐adrenergic stimulation enhances anti‐tumor immunity in TP53‐deficient oral squamous cell carcinoma by inducing tumor‐derived secretion of CXCL10, which attracts and activates cytotoxic CD8+ T cells. The findings demonstrate that β‐adrenergic signaling alters tumor–immune interactions via CXCL10‐mediated paracrine activation, revealing a neuro‐immune ...

Integrated multi‐omic profiling maps the gene‐regulatory landscape of the coelomic mesothelium across heart, lung, and pancreas. A cardiac‐restricted regulatory program is uncovered in which TBX20 activates heart mesothelial (epicardial) cis‐regulatory elements, while MAF emerges as a conserved regulator of mesothelial identity.

QC-LDPC Codes Construction by Concatenating of Circulant Matrices as Block-Columns
In this paper a new low complexity method for constructing binary quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check (QC-LDPC) codes is introduced. In the proposed method, each block-column of the parity check matrix H is made by a circulant matrix in a way that the ...
