We generalize the recoil polarization method for the determination of the proton form factor to the case of the disintegration of vector polarized deuterons by longitudinally polarized electrons, $\vec d(\vec e, e'n)p$.

Quasi-specular albedo of cold neutrons from powder of nanoparticles
We predicted and observed for the first time the quasi-specular albedo of cold neutrons at small incidence angles from a powder of nanoparticles. This albedo (reflection) is due to multiple neutron small-angle scattering.

Measurement of the analyzing powers in pd elastic and pn quasi-elastic scattering at small angles
The analyzing powers in proton-deuteron elastic and proton-neutron quasi-elastic scattering have been measured at small angles using a polarized proton beam at the COSY storage ring incident on an unpolarized deuterium target.

Influence of coal sorbents on water molecules dynamics [PDF]
The results of investigations of the effect of non- and porous sorbents on water dynamics have been discused. Characteristics of dynamics by the spectra was obtained of quasi-elastic slow neutron scattering have been calculated.

Water sub-diffusion in membranes for fuel cells
We investigate the dynamics of water confined in soft ionic nano-assemblies, an issue critical for a general understanding of the multi-scale structure-function interplay in advanced materials.

Incoherent neutron scattering (INS) is one of the useful experimental methods for studying protein dynamics at the pico-nanosecond timescale. At this timescale, protein dynamics is highly coupled with hydration, which is observed as protein dynamical ...

JENDL-4.0/HE Benchmark Test with Concrete and Iron Shielding Experiments at JAEA/TIARA
As a benchmark test of JENDL-4.0/HE released in 2015, we have analyzed the concrete and iron shielding experiments with the quasi mono-energetic 40 and 65 MeV neutron sources at TIARA in JAEA by using MCNP5 and ACE files processed from JENDL-4.0/HE with ...
