Quasi-Spline Sheaves and their Contact Ideals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We research quasi-spline sheaves, which are an algebraic geometric generalization of spline spaces. Spline spaces are vector spaces of splines that are defined over some polyhedral complex in real space, and the dimension and basis for them are of ...

Spectrally Selective Bipolar Self‐Powered Opto‐Synaptic Responses in Tandem 2D van Der Waals Ferroelectric Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Tandem 2D vdW ferroelectric heterojunctions enable spectrally selective, self‐powered bipolar opto‐synaptic responses for retinal ON/OFF bipolar cell emulation and wavelength‐programmable logic operations. This work establishes vdW ferroelectric heterojunctions as a compelling materials platform for energy‐efficient, adaptive, and human‐like artificial

Embedded Ferroelectric Nanoclusters Can Drive Polarization Reversal in a Non‐Ferroelectric Polar Film via the Proximity Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric nanoclusters create local internal fields in a normally non‐switchable polar film because of polarization mismatch at their interfaces. That field opposes polarization in the regions with larger polarization and reinforces polarization in the regions with smaller polarization.

Fuzzy soft set approach to ideal theory of regular AG-groupoids

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2016
This paper aims to apply fuzzy sets and soft sets in combination to investigate algebraic properties of regular AG-groupoids. We initiate (∈γ; ∈γ qδ)-fuzzy soft left ideals (right ideals, bi-ideals and quasi-ideals) over AG-groupoids and explore some ...

From Photoalignment to Structured Light: Liquid Crystal Platforms for Beam Shaping and Complex Wavefronts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Photoaligned and photopatterned liquid crystal platforms provide programmable control of optical phase, polarization, and spin‐orbit interactions, enabling compact generation of structured light and complex wavefronts. This review highlights how tailored molecular orientations transform simple beams into designed optical fields, opening versatile ...

Hesitant intuitionistic fuzzy ideals of $\Gamma$-semirings

open access: yesJournal of New Results in Science, 2020
In this paper, we have definedhesitant intuitionistic fuzzy ideals, hesitantintuitionistic fuzzybi-ideals and hesitant intuitionistic fuzzy quasi-ideals of a $\Gamma$-semiring and obtain some of their related properties.

Almost (m, n)-quasi-ideals and Fuzzy almost (m, n)-quasi-ideals in Ordered Semigroups

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics
The ordered semigroups are algebraic systems consisting of a non-empty set, an associative binary operation, and a partial order compatible with this binary operation. Grosek and Stako studied almost ideals in semigroups in 1980. In 2019 S. Suebsung et al. studied almost (m; n)-ideals in semigroups. Later, in 2022, S. Suebsung et al.

Mimicking Silent Synapse Recruitment: A SiOx/Cu‐Pancake Memristive Device For Analog Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electroforming‐free TiN/SiOx/Cu/SiOx/TiN memristive devices exploit pancake‐like Cu nanoparticles embedded in a SiOx double layer to create a heterogeneous Schottky‐barrier landscape. Under bias, oxygen‐vacancy redistribution progressively lowers local barriers and recruits initially inactive Cu‐PC pathways into a parallel conduction ensemble, enabling

Seifert's algorithm, Châtelet bases and the Alexander ideals of classical knots [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
I begin by developing a procedure for the construction of a Seifert surface, using Seifert's algorithm, and the calculation of a Seifert matrix for a knot from a suitable encoding of a knot diagram. This procedure deals with the inherent indeterminacy of

Magnesium‐Based Transient Bioelectronics, Bio‐Optics and Bio‐Scaffolds

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This paper reviews the state of the art and recent advances in magnesium‐based thin‐film, foils, and scaffolds for applications in transient bio‐optics, bioelectronics and tissue engineering. The design principles, fabrication methods, material properties, and integration strategies are discussed in detail.
