Quasi-Static Calibration Method of a High-g Accelerometer [PDF]

open access: yesSensors, 2017
To solve the problem of resonance during quasi-static calibration of high-g accelerometers, we deduce the relationship between the minimum excitation pulse width and the resonant frequency of the calibrated accelerometer according to the second-order ...

Quasi-static quintication method for periodic solution of strong nonlinear oscillators

open access: yesScientific African, 2021
In this paper, a quasi-static quintication method for approximate periodic solution of strong nonlinear oscillators was presented. The basic idea of the method is to replace the original nonlinear oscillator with an equivalent cubic-quintic oscillator ...

Quasi-Static FDTD Method for Dosimetry in Human due to Contact Current

open access: yesIEICE Transactions on Electronics, 2010
The present study proposes a quasi-static finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method for dosimetry in humans due to contact current at low frequencies (∼10kHz). Our attention focused on wave sources which can reduce computational time. The computational time was found to be reduced using a voltage source of a step function with smooth start.

STAR-RIS-assisted key generation method in quasi-static environment

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking
In this paper, we introduce a new method to solve the low-entropy problem in a quasi-static environment. We utilize a simultaneous transmission and reflection reconfigurable intelligent surface (STAR-RIS) that transmits and reflects incoming signals to ...

Coupling the Cell Method with the Boundary Element Method in Static and Quasi–Static Electromagnetic Problems

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
A unified discretization framework, based on the concept of augmented dual grids, is proposed for devising hybrid formulations which combine the Cell Method and the Boundary Element Method for static and quasi-static electromagnetic field problems. It is

Generalization of the thermodynamic approach to multi-dimensional quasistatic processes

open access: yesSistemnì Doslìdženâ ta Informacìjnì Tehnologìï, 2023
A method of mathematical modeling of multidimensional quasi-static processes, a generalization of quasi-static processes of equilibrium thermodynamics, is proposed and substantiated. The authors obtain a generalization of the first and the second law of

The Quasi-Static Response of Moored Floating Structures Based on Minimization of Mechanical Energy

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2021
It is essential to design a reasonable mooring line length that ensures quasi-static responses of moored floating structures are within an acceptable level, and that reduces the cost of mooring lines in the overall project. Quasi-static responses include

An Eulerian projection method for quasi-static elastoplasticity [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Computational Physics, 2015
A well-established numerical approach to solve the Navier--Stokes equations for incompressible fluids is Chorin's projection method, whereby the fluid velocity is explicitly updated, and then an elliptic problem for the pressure is solved, which is used to orthogonally project the velocity field to maintain the incompressibility constraint.

Quasi-static analysis: A method for predicting grasp stability [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings. 1986 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 1986
This paper introduces a general method for predicting the stability of grasps obtained by articulated mechanical hands. Two contact models are considered: point contact with friction, and a distributed form called the "soft finger contact". The method is applicable to a large class of statically indeterminate, as well as determinate, cases.
