On Stoltenberg's quasi-uniform completion
In this paper, we give a new completion for quasi-uniform spaces which generalizes the completion theories of Doitchinov [8] and Stoltenberg [20]. The presented completion theory is very well-behaved and extends the completion theory of uniform spaces in a natural way.

Transitivity of hereditarily metacompact spaces
We prove that each regular hereditarily metacompact (monotonic) β-space has the property that the third power of any neighbornet belongs to its point-finite quasi-uniformity.

In this paper we introduce the concept of directed fractal structure, which is a generalization of the concept of fractal structure (introduced by the authors). We study the relation with transitive quasiuniformities and inverse limits of posets.

Estimating the Position of an Image with Unknown Intensity Shape
The problem considered is to estimate the image position of a spatially extended object. It is assumed that the shape of the image intensity is a priori unknown, but it can be predicted with some error.

Realization of Electrically Small, Low-Profile Quasi-Isotropic Antenna Using 3D Printing Technology
A 3D printed, low-profile, electrically small antenna with a quasi-isotropic radiation pattern is presented herein. It is composed of an electric meandered dipole antenna, and the extended arcs from the meander line mimicking the current flow of the loop

Analysis of quasi-uniform subdivision
The authors study the smoothness of quasi-uniform bivariate subdivision and derive a sufficient condition for \(C^m\) continuity of the limit function. They also relate the Hölder exponent of \(m\)th order derivatives to the joint spectral radius. A so called ``tri-quad'' scheme is presented and is shown to be \(C^2\).

A note on unibasic spaces and transitive quasi-proximities
In this paper we prove there is a bijection between the set of all annular bases of a topological spaces $(X,\tau)$ and the set of all transitive quasi-proximities on $X$ inducing $\tau$. We establish some properties of those topological spaces $(X,\tau)

Quasi-3D Plasmonic Nanowell Array for Molecular Enrichment and SERS-Based Detection
We report on a quasi-three-dimensional (3D) plasmonic nanowell array with high structural uniformity for molecular detection. The quasi-3D plasmonic nanowell array was composed of periodic hexagonal Au nanowells whose surface is densely covered with gold

Abstract In this article, using mostly Pervin [9], Kunzi [6], [8], [7], Williams [11] and Bourbaki [3] works, we formalize in Mizar [2] the notions of quasiuniform space, semi-uniform space and locally uniform space. We define the topology induced by a quasi-uniform space.

A parameter study is performed of a broadband uniplanar quasi-Yagi antenna with regard to its design and use in a~spatial power combiner. A 3D full-wave electromagnetic field analysis is applied to identify parameters, which mostly affect the design ...
