Characterizations of Quiet Quasi-Uniformity and Almost Quiet Quasi-Uniformity in Terms of Covers
Summary: Quiet quasi-uniformity and almost quiet quasi-uniformity are characterized in terms of strong quasi-uniform covers. Also, some applications of this type of covers are given in the last section.

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

On stratified single-valued soft topogenous structures
This paper presents novel concepts including stratified single-valued neutrosophic soft topogenous (stratified svns-topogenous), stratified single-valued neutrosophic soft filter (stratified svns-filter), stratified single-valued neutrosophic soft quasi ...

Evaluating Energy Absorption Performance of Filled Lattice Structures
Maximum stress must be considered to robustly evaluate energy absorber designs. This approach was applied to compare all types of absorbers in a single Ashby diagram and determine the utility of filling lattice voids with a second material. High‐performance fillers can improve the performance of lattices that are limited by buckling or catastrophic ...

Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

The regular open-open topology for function spaces
The regular open-open topology, Troo, is introduced, its properties for spaces of continuous functions are discussed, and Troo is compared to Too, the open-open topology.

Composite Ti–6Al–4V–epoxy lattice structures are additively manufactured and epoxy infiltrated for cyclic loading. At low lattice volume fractions, hybridization produces synergistic gains in stiffness and energy dissipation. At higher volume fractions, synergy diminishes, although composites still exceed metallic lattices in specific energy ...

Influence of Geometric Design on Mechanical Performance of Auxetic Metastructure
Strategic geometric reinforcement transforms auxetic performance. This study evaluates 3D‐printed arrowhead metastructures, revealing that a modified design with local ring reinforcement suppresses premature failure to achieve superior energy absorption and structural efficiency.

The open-open topology for function spaces
Let (X,T) and (Y,T*) be topological spaces and let F⊂YX. For each U∈T, V∈T*, let (U,V)={f∈F:f(U)⊂V}. Define the set S∘∘={(U,V):U∈T and V∈T*}. Then S∘∘ is a subbasis for a topology, T∘∘ on F, which is called the open-open topology.
