mQfit, a new program for analyzing quasi-elastic neutron scattering data
Analysis of Quasi-elastic Neutron Scattering (QENS) data of complex systems such as biological or soft matter samples in a comprehensive and explicit way often requires great efforts.

Nuclear halo structure from quasielastic charge-exchange reactions
Neutron and proton densities in the nuclear periphery are investigated within (p,n) charge-exchange isobar transitions. For this purpose we have developed parameter-free optical potentials with a detailed treatment of the in-medium $t_{\tau}$ part of the

Neutral-Current Atmospheric Neutrino Flux Measurement Using Neutrino-Proton Elastic Scattering in Super-Kamiokande [PDF]
Recent results show that atmospheric $\nu_\mu$ oscillate with $\delta m^2 \simeq 3 \times 10^{-3}$ eV$^2$ and $\sin^2{2\theta_{atm}} \simeq 1$, and that conversion into $\nu_e$ is strongly disfavored.

Underlying Roles of Polyol Additives in Promoting CO2 Capture in PEI/Silica Adsorbents
Poly(ethylenimine) (PEI) mixed with short‐chain poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) additives and co‐impregnated to mesoporous SBA‐15 silica demonstrate enhanced CO2 capacities and uptake rates. Neutron scattering, solid‐state NMR, and molecular dynamics simulations reveal that favorable PEI distribution is crucial.

A new surface treatment using vinyltrimethoxysilane on poly(ethyleneimine) (PEI)‐loaded B‐doped mesoporous silica is reported, which increases the activity of nitrogen sorption sites for CO2 capture under direct air capture and point‐source capture conditions.

Critical dynamics of a spin-5/2 2D isotropic antiferromagnet
We report a neutron scattering study of the dynamic spin correlations in Rb$_2$MnF$_4$, a two-dimensional spin-5/2 antiferromagnet. By tuning an external magnetic field to the value for the spin-flop line, we reduce the effective spin anisotropy to ...

A new analysis framework to treat quasi‐elastic neutron spectroscopy data recorded at discrete energy transfers has been developed. This new approach can be employed successfully for kinetic studies of diffusive dynamics.Neutron spectroscopy uniquely and non‐destructively accesses diffusive dynamics in soft and biological matter, including for instance

Extended Superscaling of Electron Scattering from Nuclei
An extended study of scaling of the first and second kinds for inclusive electron scattering from nuclei is presented. Emphasis is placed on the transverse response in the kinematic region lying above the quasielastic peak.

Strangeness content of the nucleon in quasielastic neutrino-nucleus reactions
We present a systematic study of the sensitivity of quasielastic neutrino-nucleus cross sections at intermediate energies to the strange quark sea of the nucleon. To this end, we investigate the impact of the weak strangeness form factors on the ratio of
