Universal Stripe Symmetry of Short‐Range Charge Density Waves in Cuprate Superconductors
The symmetry of charge‐density‐wave (CDW) in copper‐oxide superconductors is an important clue for the longstanding conundrum of high‐temperature superconductivity. This novel RIXS mapping study corroborates unidirectional stripe as a fundamental symmetry of CDWs across cuprate materials.

4f-spin dynamics in La(2-x-y)Sr(x)Nd(y)CuO(4) [PDF]
We have performed inelastic magnetic neutron scattering experiments on La(2-x-y)Sr(x)Nd(y)CuO(4) in order to study the Nd 4f-spin dynamics at low energies. In all samples we find at high temperatures a quasielastic line (Lorentzian) with a line width which decreases on lowering the temperature.

mQfit, a new program for analyzing quasi-elastic neutron scattering data
Analysis of Quasi-elastic Neutron Scattering (QENS) data of complex systems such as biological or soft matter samples in a comprehensive and explicit way often requires great efforts.

High-energy limit of neutrino quasielastic cross section [PDF]
It's a common knowledge that the quasielastic neutrino-neutron and antineutrino-proton cross sections tend to the same constant as (anti)neutrino energy becomes high. In this paper we calculate the exact expression of the limit in terms of the parameters describing quasielastic scattering.

Glass Transition in the Polaron Dynamics of CMR Manganites
Neutron scattering measurements on a bilayer manganite near optimal doping show that the short-range polarons correlations are completely dynamic at high T, but then freeze upon cooling to a temperature T* 310 K.

Magnetic Excitations in the Ground State of $\mathrm{Yb_2Ti_2O_7}$ [PDF]
We report an extensive study on the zero field ground state of a powder sample of the pyrochlore $\mathrm{Yb_2Ti_2O_7}$. A sharp heat capacity anomaly that labels a low temperature phase transition in this material is observed at 280 mK.

Dynamic rotor mode in antiferromagnetic nanoparticles [PDF]
We present experimental, numerical, and theoretical evidence for a new mode of antiferromagnetic dynamics in nanoparticles. Elastic neutron scattering experiments on 8 nm particles of hematite display a loss of diffraction intensity with temperature, the

Measurements of the neutron electric to magnetic form factor ratio G_(En)/G_(Mn) via the ^2H(e, e'n)^1H reaction to Q^2 = 1.45 (GeV/c)^2 [PDF]
We report values for the neutron electric tomagnetic form factor ratio,G_(En)/G_(Mn), deduced frommeasurements of the neutron’s recoil polarization in the quasielastic ^2H(e, e'n)^1H reaction, at three Q^2 values of 0.45, 1.13, and 1.45 (GeV/c)^2.

We studied the short-range order and the atomic dynamics of stable and undercooled binary Zr2Co alloy melts as well as their density and viscosity. The containerless processing technique of electrostatic levitation was used to achieve deep undercooling ...
