Neutrino quasielastic interaction and nuclear dynamics
We investigate the double differential neutrino-carbon quasielastic cross sections as measured by the MiniBooNE experiment. Our present treatment incorporates relativistic corrections in the nuclear response functions and includes the multinucleon ...

Magnetic Bragg peak enhancement under ultrasound injection
Ultrasound injection effect on a magnetic Bragg peak of yttrium iron garnet has been studied by quasielastic neutron scattering. The magnetic Bragg peak is vastly enhanced with decreasing temperature.

Superscaling and Neutral Current Quasielastic Neutrino-Nucleus Scattering beyond the Relativistic Fermi Gas Model [PDF]
The superscaling analysis is extended to include quasielastic (QE) scattering via the weak neutral current of neutrinos and antineutrinos from nuclei.

A note on quasielastic neutron scattering
We present a theorem that in coherent quasielastic neutron scattering on a confined and limited system of identical particles only the configuration-configuration correlations have to be examined without any hindsight on the distribution of the particles inside the configuration.

Scattering fingerprints of two-state dynamics
Particle transport in complex environments such as the interior of living cells is often (transiently) non-Fickian or anomalous, that is, it deviates from the laws of Brownian motion.

Quasielastic Neutron Scattering Study on Polymer Nanocomposites
By using a quasielastic neutron scattering technique (disk-chopper-type spectrometer AMATERAS at J-PARC), we have investigated the microscopic dynamics of polybutadiene (PB) in which silica particles were embedded. The experimental results gave us both a damped vibration mode of PB and jumped diffusion motion of the segments.

We report on QuasiElastic Neutron Scattering (QENS) investigations of the dynamics of protons and water molecules confined in nanostructured perfluorinated sulfonic acid (PFSA) materials, namely a commercial Aquivion membrane and the perfluorooctane ...

Dynamics of proteins with different molecular structures under solution condition
Incoherent quasielastic neutron scattering (iQENS) is a fascinating technique for investigating the internal dynamics of protein. However, low flux of neutron beam, low signal to noise ratio of QENS spectrometers and unavailability of well-established ...
