Artificial Intelligence‐Assisted Workflow for Transmission Electron Microscopy: From Data Analysis Automation to Materials Knowledge Unveiling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
AI‐Assisted Workflow for (Scanning) Transmission Electron Microscopy: From Data Analysis Automation to Materials Knowledge Unveiling. Abstract (Scanning) transmission electron microscopy ((S)TEM) has significantly advanced materials science but faces challenges in correlating precise atomic structure information with the functional properties of ...

Evolution with(out) time: relational holography & BPS complexity growth in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 double-scaled SYK

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
How do we describe non-trivial bulk measurements relative to an observer (i.e. relationally) when both the observer and the system it probes may/may not evolve in time? How can we interpret this holographically; particularly for zero-energy BPS states in

Population rate of quantum states and the reverse of the arrow of time

open access: yesNova Scientia, 2022
Recently it has been pointed out that an outstanding application of an IBM quantum computer is to reverse the arrow of time (Lesovik et al., 2019). It is explored such a possibility in a two qubits system coupled to a common structured reservoir at zero

Comment: Inductive entanglement classification of four qubits under stochastic local operation and classical communication

open access: yes, 2018
L. Lamata et al. have presented an entanglement classification of four qubits under stochastic local operation and classical communication (SLOCC) based on inductive approach [Phys. Rev. A \textbf{75}, 022318 (2007)]. While it works well for three qubits,

Self‐Cooling Molecular Spin Qudits

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A material made of [GdEr] molecular dimers can encode a qudit and perform as a magnetic refrigerant. Microwave resonant pulses coherently manipulate its 16 spin states, while direct demagnetization measurements cool the material and a device down to temperatures below 1 K.

Symmetry sectors in chord space and relational holography in the DSSYK. Lessons from branes, wormholes, and de Sitter space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In holography, gauging symmetries of the boundary theory leads to important modifications in the bulk. In this work, we study constraints to gauge symmetry sectors in the chord Hilbert space of the double-scaled SYK (DSSYK) with matter, and we connect ...

Thermal entanglement in the three-qubit Tavis-Cummings model with Kerr nonlinearity

open access: yesКомпьютерная оптика
We obtained a solution of the Liouville equation for a system of three identical qubits interacting without detuning with a thermal field of a cavity with a Kerr medium, for two type of initial pure genuine W-entangled qubits states.

Nonlinear qubit transformations [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2001
We generalise our previous results of universal linear manipulations [Phys. Rev. A63, 032304 (2001)] to investigate three types of nonlinear qubit transformations using measurement and quantum based schemes. Firstly, nonlinear rotations are studied. We rotate different parts of a Bloch sphere in opposite directions about the z-axis.
