ABSTRACT Phytocannabinoids are bioactive metabolites derived from the Cannabis sativa plant. They have garnered attention due to their recreational uses and therapeutic potential. Although various analytical strategies have been employed for their analysis, mass spectrometry (MS) coupled to chromatographic separation is superior due to its sensitivity ...

Revised paper: Neonicotinoids as a potential threat to honey: Development of liquid chromatography methods for their determination [PDF]
There is an increasing interest on neonicotinoid residues determination in honey samples because they are banned by European Union. Their determination is based on liquid chromatography analytical methods and, therefore, the aim of this study was to ...

SlGRF1 mediates gibberellin signaling to control cut‐budding in tomato
Upon wounding, cytokinin increases to initiate callus formation. Gibberellin enhances this, but later blocks bud formation by suppressing SlGRF1. Wounding‐induced protein SlGRF1 triggers buds via NAM1, EPF4, and ER2. Hormonal shifts control cut‐budding phases.

Determination of avermectins: A QuEChERS approach to the analysis of food samples
We present a simple method for extracting avermectines from meat, based on a QuEChERS approach followed by liquid chromatography (LC) coupled to triple quadrupole (QqQ) tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS). The compounds considered are ivermectin, abamectin, emamectin, eprinomectin, doramectin and moxidectin.

First comparative study in oxidative stress between wild bees and managed bees. Bees collected from organic landscapes exhibited the lowest OX levels. Pesticide profiles were different among landscapes. Abstract Oxidative stress (OX) is a state of imbalance between antioxidants and reactive oxygen species, which are the byproducts of oxidative ...
