Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.

Minimization of data base query's conditions: evoluation of efficiency
This paper describes enhanced algorisms of query lexical optimization. These algorisms detect and remove redundant conditions from query restriction to simplify it.

QIACO: A Quantum Dynamic Cost Ant System for Query Optimization in Distributed Database
Query optimization is considered as the most significant part in a model of distributed database. The optimizer tries to find an optimal join order, which reduces the query execution cost. Several factors may affect the cost of query execution, including

An extension of SPARQL for expressing qualitative preferences
In this paper we present SPREFQL, an extension of the SPARQL language that allows appending a PREFER clause that expresses "soft" preferences over the query results obtained by the main body of the query.

Chronic TGF‐β exposure drives epithelial HCC cells from a senescent state to a TGF‐β resistant mesenchymal phenotype. This transition is characterized by the loss of Smad3‐mediated signaling, escape from senescence, enhanced invasiveness and metastatic potential, and upregulation of key resistance modulators such as MARK1 and GRM8, ultimately promoting

Towards a query language for annotation graphs [PDF]
The multidimensional, heterogeneous, and temporal nature of speech databases raises interesting challenges for representation and query. Recently, annotation graphs have been proposed as a general-purpose representational framework for speech databases ...

Towards Efficient Path Query on Social Network with Hybrid RDF Management
The scalability and exibility of Resource Description Framework(RDF) model make it ideally suited for representing online social networks(OSN). One basic operation in OSN is to find chains of relations, such as k-Hop friends. Property path query in SPARQL

This study used longitudinal transcriptomics and gene‐pattern classification to uncover patient‐specific mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. Findings reveal preexisting drug‐tolerant states in primary tumors and diverse gene rewiring patterns across patients, converging on a few dysregulated functional modules. Despite receiving the

New algorithms for query modifications
New algorithms for query modifications are proposed. These algorithms involve the lexical optimization based on the mathematical transformations that have never been used for the query optimization before.

Query Optimization in Distributed Database Based on Improved Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm
Query optimization is one of the key factors affecting the performance of database systems that aim to enact the query execution plan with minimum cost. Particularly in distributed database systems, due to the multiple copies of the data that are stored ...
