FLUID QUEUES AND MOUNTAIN PROCESSES [PDF]
This paper is devoted to the analysis of a fluid queue with a buffer content that varies linearly during periods that are governed by a three-state semi-Markov process. Two cases are being distinguished: (i) two upward slopes and one downward slope, and (ii) one upward slope and two downward slopes.

Queues Driven by Hawkes Processes [PDF]
Many stochastic systems have arrival processes that exhibit clustering behavior. In these systems, arriving entities influence additional arrivals to occur through self-excitation of the arrival process. In this paper, we analyze an infinite server queueing system in which the arrivals are driven by the self-exciting Hawkes process and in which service

Queues and risk models with simultaneous arrivals [PDF]
We focus on a particular connection between queueing and risk models in a multi-dimensional setting. We first consider the joint workload process in a queueing model with parallel queues and simultaneous arrivals at the queues.

In this paper, we discuss the waiting-time distribution for a finite-space, single-server queueing system, in which customers arrive singly following a Poisson process and the server operates under (a,b)-bulk service rule.

Queues with Dropping Functions and General Arrival Processes. [PDF]
In a queueing system with the dropping function the arriving customer can be denied service (dropped) with the probability that is a function of the queue length at the time of arrival of this customer.

Hardware acceleration of number theoretic transform for zk‐SNARK
An FPGA‐based hardware accelerator with a multi‐level pipeline is designed to support the large‐bitwidth and large‐scale NTT tasks in zk‐SNARK. It can be flexibly scaled to different scales of FPGAs and has been equipped in the heterogeneous acceleration system with the help of HLS and OpenCL.
