HER2-low y respuesta a la quimioterapia neoadyuvante en cáncer de mama temprano

Introducción: el cáncer de mama es la primera causa de muerte por cáncer entre las mujeres. Los tumores HER2-low tienen una baja expresión de HER2 estimándose que la proporción está entre el 45%-55%. Análisis de cohortes no apoyan la interpretación que el cáncer de mama HER2-low como un subtipo biológico distinto.

This study aimed to estimate the effect of neoadjuvant FOLFOX in patients undergoing upfront resectable colorectal liver metastases. After adjustment, no significant impact of FOLFOX was detected, suggesting that upfront surgery may be acceptable in patients with limited disease.

A UK multicentre audit of direct‐to‐implant prepectoral breast reconstructions using acellular dermal matrix was conducted for all patients operated on from January 2015 to December 2017 across 18 centres. In a median follow‐up of 9·7 months, the major complication rate was 15·3 per cent and the 90‐day implant removal rate 4·9 per cent.
