Hot Injection Synthesis of Ultrathin Bi2Se3 Nanosheets With Controllable Dimensions
Graphic of hot‐injection method for synthesizing Bi2Se3${\rm Bi}_2{\rm Se}_3$ nanoplatelets of controlled shape, thickness, and lateral size. The ultra‐thin regime is achievable, which is interesting for studying topological phase transitions. ABSTRACT In this work, a synthesis method for colloidal nanoplatelets (NPLs) of the topological insulator ...

Facilitating Quintuple helix innovation with urban living labs
This paper discusses the Urban Living Lab approach as a way to put the Quintuple Helix model for innovation into practice. In this analysis we focus on the concepts innovation democracy, ‘mode 3’ knowledge production, the innovation ecosystem as a system of societal subsystems and socioecological transition. The empirical analysis is performed by means

We present a new formulation for protein flexibility and learn protein motions from sparse experimental data.Proteins move and deform to ensure their biological functions. Despite significant progress in protein structure prediction, approximating conformational ensembles under physiological conditions remains a fundamental open problem.

Significance Statement The shade‐avoidance response allows plants to better access sunlight to compete against surrounding neighbors. In Arabidopsis, PIF7 can be dephosphorylated under shade and accumulates into the nucleus to promote auxin biosynthetic and signaling genes to promote stem elongation.
