Ternary Microphase Diagram of SBM Triblock Terpolymer Morphologies in Spherical Confinement

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Block copolymers are a versatile class of soft materials, as they combine different chemical and physical properties within the same macromolecule. Triblock terpolymers are of particular interest because of the numerous morphologies they can form. With the aim of generating a comprehensive ternary microphase diagram, we emulsified 22 different

Investigating Bacillus amyloliquefaciens VFS2 for Vicia faba‐fusarium wilt biocontrol and plant growth promotion under osmotic stress

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
The osmoadapted B. amyloliquefaciens VFS2 showed strong antifungal activities against Vicia faba‐pathogenic fungi and produced significant amounts of cLPs isoforms, indole‐3‐acetic acid, and siderophores under osmotic stress. These properties were associated with a Vicia faba Fusarium‐wilt disease biocontrol under saline and water‐deficient conditions.

Board Gender Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility. A Literature Review on Critical Mass Theory and Research Recommendations

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study addresses the question of whether a critical mass of female directors positively contributes to corporate social responsibility (CSR) outcomes. Based on stakeholder‐agency and critical mass theories, a structured literature review of 92 archival critical mass studies on the impact of board gender diversity (BGD) on CSR performance ...

Gating Gas Permeability Through Dynamic Cracking of Liquid Crystal Polymer Membranes

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A stimuli‐responsive polymer membrane enables reversible and localized control of gas transport. Integrating a passive gold layer and an active liquid crystal oligomer network (Au–LCON), heat‐triggered actuation induces interfacial stress mismatches that dynamically open or close cracks, which serve as gas channels.

Sorption and Utilization of Per‐ and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in Rechargeable Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) pose serious environmental and health risks. This work presents a sustainable strategy that removes PFAS from aqueous solution using zinc metal, and repurposes the treated zinc as a high‐performance battery component.
