Device‐Independent Quantum Key Distribution: Protocols, Quantum Games and Security
Device‐independent quantum key distribution (DIQKD) removes the need to trust internal device behaviour by certifying security through Bell‐inequality violations, thereby closing practical loopholes in conventional QKD. This paper systematically reviews DIQKD foundations (Bell tests and security definitions), protocol frameworks (CHSH‐based and ...

In ref.[1], we have reported the quantification of bipartite and tripartite entanglement measures in two and three neutrino systems, respectively. In the tripartite system, the correlations exhibited by neutrino oscillations are like the W-states which are legitimate physical resources for quantum information tasks.

Triggered Qutrits for Quantum Communication Protocols [PDF]
A general protocol in Quantum Information and Communication relies in the ability of producing, transmitting and reconstructing, in general, qunits. In this letter we show for the first time the experimental implementation of these three basic steps on a pure state in a three dimensional space, by means of the orbital angular momentum of the photons ...

Theoretical Quantum Information Processing (QIP) has matured from the use of qubits to the use of qudits (systems having states> 2). Where as most of the experimental implementations have been performed using qubits, little experimental work has been ...

Constructing a Set of Kronecker–Pauli Matrices
In quantum physics, the choice of basis is crucial for formulation. The generalization of the Pauli matrices via the Kronecker product, known as Pauli strings, is typically restricted to 2n‐dimensional systems. This paper explores extending this generalization to n‐dimensional systems, where n is an integer, n > 2, to construct n × n‐Kronecker–Pauli ...

Experimental quantum cryptography with qutrits
We produce two identical keys using, for the first time, entangled trinary quantum systems (qutrits) for quantum key distribution. The advantage of qutrits over the normally used binary quantum systems is an increased coding density and a higher security margin.

Characterization of qutrit channels in terms of their covariance and symmetry properties
We characterize the completely positive trace-preserving maps on qutrits (qutrit channels) according to their covariance and symmetry properties. Both discrete and continuous groups are considered.

Abstract Light encodes information in multiple degrees of freedom (e.g., frequency, amplitude, and phase), enabling high‐speed, high‐bandwidth communication through fiber optics. Unlike classical light, quantum light (single or entangled photons) can transmit quantum states over long distances without loss of coherence, thereby coherently ...

Effect of random telegraph noise on entanglement and nonlocality of a qubit-qutrit system [PDF]
We study the evolution of entanglement and nonlocality of a non-interacting qubit-qutrit system under the effect of random telegraph noise (RTN) in independent and common environments in Markovian and non-Markovian regimes.
