Impact of the first-forbidden ß decay on the production of A ~ 195 r-process peak

We investigated the effects of first-forbidden transitions in ß decays on the production of the r -process A~195 peak. The theoretical calculated ß-decay rates with ß-delayed neutron emission were examined using several astrophysical conditions.

Two-dimensional hydrodynamic simulations are performed to investigate r-process nucleosynthesis in a collapsar using the model of MacFadyen and Woosley (1999). We have solved time evolution of chemical composition with a large reaction network that contains 6000 nuclei.
