Novel Application of Cell Penetrating R11 Peptide for Diagnosis of Bladder Cancer

Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology, 2018
As a novel cell-permeable peptide, polyarginine (R11) showed great potential as contrast agent to target bladder cancer (BCa) for therapeutic applications. However, its diagnostic ability and uptake efficiency between BCa and normal bladder tissues is unknown.

Ring 11 chromosome (46,XX,r11(p15q25))

Human Genetics, 1977
A girl has a stable chromosome 11, which does not reveal loss of any chromosomal material. She demonstrates small stature, mild retardation, behavior problems, mild abnormal EEG, prominent sole furrow, increased deep tendon reflexes and hypothyroidism; this latter condition may have contributed to her retardation.

Turbulent flow of freon R11 hydrate slurry

Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, 2010
A set of hydrate slurry flow experiments has been conducted in a laboratory scale low-pressure flow loop. The dependence of turbulent slurry flow on the hydrate volume fraction has been studied. The slurry is shown to behave as a non-Newtonian fluid and the apparent viscosity is determined as a function of the concentration of hydrate particles.
