Measured permeability and porosity of R11 (CCl3F) hydrate plugs
Chemical Engineering Science, 1998Abstract Two important parameters for the melting behaviour of a hydrate plug are the permeability and porosity. This paper presents permeability and porosity (volume phase fraction) measurements of R11 (CCl 3 F) hydrate plugs formed in glass pipe-sections. The plugs were formed without any circulation of fluids, i.e. under quiescent conditions.

Construction of an (r11, r12, r22)-Tournament from a Score Sequence Pair
2007 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2007Let G be any directed graph and S be nonnegative and non-decreasing integer sequence(s). The prescribed degree sequence problem is a problem to determine whether there is a graph G with S as the prescribed sequence(s) of outdegrees of the vertices. Let G be the property satisfying the following (1) and (2): (1) G has two disjoint vertex sets A and B ...

Feasibility of trichlorofluoromethane (CCl3F, R11) heptadecahydrate as a heat storage material
Energy Conversion and Management, 1985Abstract Trichlorofluoromethane (CCl3F, R11) heptadecahydrate, which melts at 8.5°C with a heat of fusion of 274 kJ/kg (65.4 cal/g), was investigated as a latent heat storage material. Addition of nonionic surfactant, 2 wt% to water in R11 hydrate, increased the formation rate of the hydrate about 4 times which is sufficient for practical use.

AbstractDermal absorption and excretion of MGK R11 [2,3:4,5-bis(2-butylene) tetrahydro-2 furaldehyde, McLaughlin Gormley King Company, Minneapolis, MN] was studied using [14C]MGK R11 either by itself or formulated with DEET (N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide), MGK 264 (N-octylbicycloheptene dicarboximide), and MGK 326 (di-n-propyl-isocinchomeronate).

Photographic study of bubble dynamics for pool boiling of refrigerant R11
Heat and Mass Transfer, 2006A digital photographic study of pool boiling with R11 was performed on a horizontal transparent heater at pressure at 0.1 MPa. A high-speed digital camera was applied to record the bubble behaviors of boiling process. The departure diameter, departure time, and nucleation site density at different heat flux were obtained.
