Record‐Wise Disaggregated Seismic Fragilities for Interconnected Systems
ABSTRACT Seismic risk assessment studies typically rely on fragility functions/curves to characterize the susceptibility of an asset or a class of assets to damage. These curves are essentially a summarization of responses evaluated on the basis of ground motions with record characteristics and intensities that may or may not be tied to a specific site

Detection of Aniline resistant and Streptomycin sensitive Yeast R11 in processed Biosolid
It is known that five nitroaniline and dinitroaniline isomers including 2‐nitroaniline, 3‐nitroaniline, 4‐nitroaniline, 2,4‐dinitroaniline and 2, 6‐dinitroaniline were detected in the acidic wastewater and in printing and dyeing wastewater. In this study, Yeast R112 was inoculated in the biosolid(biosludge) to determine the growth pattern and tolerance

Abstract Fossil foraminifera store a wealth of information about past climates and ecosystems in their shell chemistry. However, these element and isotope signals may be affected by post‐mortem diagenesis (i.e., alteration). Here, we use Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD; crystal orientation mapping) to evaluate the structural integrity of sub ...

We present the implementation of our RIM prototype within a microscopy core facility. We describe the system setup, characterization, and optimization, and, as a proof of concept, we provide biological examples demonstrating the prototype's performance, here in resolving microvilli brush border intestine in adult C. elegans.
