ABSTRACT The expansion of e‐commerce in the fashion sector has prompted exploration of the factors influencing the intention to purchase through this channel. Drawing on the theory of consumption values, this research examines how the usability of e‐commerce (functional value), together with satisfaction (epistemic value) and consumer happiness ...

Proteolytic processing of a peptide precursor in Aplysia neuron R14.
The large neurons of the mollusc Aplysia are useful for studying the biogenesis of neuropeptides in single cells. Neuron R14 in the abdominal ganglion synthesizes large quantities of a 10-kDa neuropeptide precursor. The amino acid sequence of this precursor has been defined by analysis of the nucleotide sequence of a cDNA clone.

The transformation of CO2 into chemical building blocks is essential for a net‐zero energy future. Plasma‐chemical processing offers promising potential to achieve this. Here, we explore a temperature‐dependent plasma‐chemical reaction mechanism, revealing a shift from electron‐driven to thermal‐driven CO2 conversion regimes.

This review highlights how nano oils and eco‐friendly nano refrigerants enhance energy‐efficient refrigeration by improving thermal conductivity, lubrication, and system performance. The integration of rheological and tribological testing confirms reduced compressor work, better heat transfer, and higher COP using sustainable, low‐GWP refrigerants for ...

The voltage-dependent, slow inward current induced by the neuropeptide FMRFamide in Aplysia neuron R14 [PDF]
The effects of the peptide FMRFamide (Phe-Met-Arg-Phe-NH2) on the soma of neuron R14 in the abdominal ganglion of Aplysia californica and A. brasiliana were characterized. Pressure-ejected FMRFamide caused 3 types of responses, (1) a fast outward current (duration, less than 30 sec), (2) a fast inward current (duration, less than 20 sec), and (3) a ...

Shifts in the Antibiotic Susceptibility, Serogroups, and Clonal Complexes of Neisseria meningitidis in Shanghai, China: A Time Trend Analysis of the Pre-Quinolone and Quinolone Eras. [PDF]
Fluoroquinolones have been used broadly since the end of the 1980s and have been recommended for Neisseria meningitidis prophylaxis since 2005 in China. The aim of this study was to determine whether and how N.

Script R14: CARD Antibiotic Resistance Analysis v1
This protocoloutlines our analysis of the potential antibiotic resistance genes found within the skin virome. We start by visualizing the relative abundances of the top 10 antibiotic resistance categories (according to the CARD). We then quantify the number of unique antibiotic resistance gene categories annotated in the samples at each skin site, and ...

Abstract Background The effectiveness of platelet‐rich plasma (PRP) injections in chronic tendinopathies remains debated. Although the product's characteristics play a role, the impact of postinjection recommendations remains poorly investigated. Objective To establish principles and guidelines for post‐PRP injection rehabilitation and return to ...
