A Unique Representation of Cyclic Codes over GR(pn,r)

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
Let R be a Galois ring, GR(pn,r), of characteristic pn and of order pnr. In this article, we study cyclic codes of arbitrary length, N, over R. We use discrete Fourier transform (DFT) to determine a unique representation of cyclic codes of length, N, in ...

Weight distribution of two classes of cyclic codes with respect to two distinct order elements [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Cyclic codes are an interesting type of linear codes and have wide applications in communication and storage systems due to their efficient encoding and decoding algorithms. Cyclic codes have been studied for many years, but their weight distribution are

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Constructions of Polynomial Codes Based on Circular Permutation Over Finite Fields

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
As a kind of very important error-correcting codes, polynomial codes have the advantages of good performance and simple structure. Generalized R-S codes over $F_{q}$ as polynomial codes have the advantages described above, but their lengths $n$ are ...

Non-binary quantum codes from constacyclic codes over 𝔽q[u1, u2,…,uk]/⟨ui3 = ui, uiuj = ujui⟩

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2022
Let q=pmq={p}^{m}, pp be an odd prime, and Rk=Fq[u1,u2,…,uk]/⟨ui3=ui,uiuj=ujui⟩{R}_{k}={{\mathbb{F}}}_{q}\left[{u}_{1},{u}_{2},\ldots ,{u}_{k}]\hspace{-0.08em}\text{/}\hspace{-0.08em}\langle {u}_{i}^{3}={u}_{i},{u}_{i}{u}_{j}={u}_{j}{u}_{i}\rangle ...

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Rank-metric codes as ideals for subspace codes and their weight properties

open access: yesAKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, 2019
Let q=pr, p a prime, r a positive integer, and Fqthe Galois field with cardinality q and characteristic p. In this paper, we study some weight properties of rank-metric codes and subspace codes. The rank weight is not egalitarian nor homogeneous, and the

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
