Abstract Rab-GDI was purified from bovine brain cytosol and its cDNA was cloned based on the amino acid sequences (Sasaki et al. 1990; Matsui et al. 1990). Human Rab-GDI cDNA was isolated from a human brain cDNA library by use of bovine Rab-GDI cDNA as a probe (Asada et al., unpublished results).
