TOMM20 increases cancer aggressiveness by maintaining a reduced state with increased NADH and NADPH levels, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and apoptosis resistance while reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. Conversely, CRISPR‐Cas9 knockdown of TOMM20 alters these cancer‐aggressive traits.

A New Type of Cipher: DICING_csb [PDF]
In this paper, we will propose a new type of cipher named DICING_csb, which is derived from our previous stream cipher DICING. It has applied a stream of subkey and an encryption form of block ciphers, so it may be viewed as a combinative of stream cipher and block cipher. Hence, the new type of cipher has fast rate like a stream cipher and need no MAC.

An enhanced Blowfish Algorithm based on cylindrical coordinate system and dynamic permutation box [PDF]
The Blowfish Algorithm (BA) is a symmetric block cipher that uses Feistel network to iterate simple encryption and decryption functions. BA key varies from 32 to 448 bits to ensure a high level of security.

Low expression of five purine metabolism‐related genes (ADSL, APRT, ADCY3, NME3, NME6) was correlated with poor survival in colorectal cancer. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed that low NME3 (early stage) and low ADSL/NME6 (late stage) levels were associated with high risk.

An Extension of Cook's Elastic Cipher [PDF]
Given a block cipher of length L Cook's elastic cipher allows to encrypt messages of variable length from L to 2L. Given some conditions on the key schedule, Cook's elastic cipher is secure against any key recovery attack if the underlying block cipher is, and it achieves complete diffusion in at most q + 1 rounds if the underlying block cipher ...

TGF‐β has a complex role in cancer, exhibiting both tumor‐suppressive and tumor‐promoting properties. Using a series of differentiated tumoroids, derived from different stages and mutational background of colorectal cancer patients, we replicate this duality of TGF‐β in vitro. Notably, the atypical but highly aggressive KRASQ22K mutation rendered early‐

Adipochondrocytes in rabbit auricular cartilage [PDF]
Chondrocytes are described as one cell population in different cartilage types. The auricular cartilage in mouse and rat contains unique chondrocytes similar in morphology to white adipocytes and known as lipochondrocytes. Lipochondrocytes were not mentioned in other species. The current study aimed to explore the existence of this cell type in rabbits.
