Viruses depend entirely on host machinery and therefore aim to conquer the host and defeat its defenses to co‐opt its resources for its own replication. Improved understanding of how viruses counteract host immune responses such as stress granule assembly, detailed here, will inform future antiviral therapeutic strategies.

Superfluidity breakdown of Rabi-coupled two-component Bose-Einstein condensates in optical lattices [PDF]
We demarcate the unstable regimes of superfluids in a Rabi-coupled two-component Bose-Einstein condensate in the presence of optical lattices. We find that the Rabi coupling can stabilize superfluids. A significant separation between Landau and dynamical instabilities is presented in a Rabi-coupled Zeeman lattice.
