Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Design of fractional order differentiator using type-III and type-IV discrete cosine transform
In this paper, an interpolation method based on discrete cosine transform (DCT) is employed for digital finite impulse response-fractional order differentiator (FIR-FOD) design. Here, a fractional order digital differentiator is modeled as finite impulse

Numerical solutions of a boundary value problem on the sphere using radial basis functions [PDF]
Boundary value problems on the unit sphere arise naturally in geophysics and oceanography when scientists model a physical quantity on large scales. Robust numerical methods play an important role in solving these problems.

Better bases for radial basis function interpolation problems
For many choices of radial basis kernels, the interpolation problem using shifts of these kernels is always nonsingular, independent of the dimension of the underlying Euclidean space and nearly independent of the geometry of the given data points (some mild geometric conditions are sometimes required).
