A Simple, Dynamic Geometric Phantom for MRI and CT Reconstruction Pipelines: Beyond Shepp–Logan
ABSTRACT A customizable, dynamic geometric phantom was developed to bridge the gap between simplistic static phantoms and highly realistic, complex 4D solutions. The phantom enables initial testing, helps detect implementation errors, and supports quantitative evaluation of new dynamic acquisition and reconstruction methods.

This study demonstrates that the novel 10B‐BPA‐based BNCT system, combined with an RFQ accelerator, effectively targets head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. It induces tumor regression safely and efficiently by triggering DNA damage and activating the ROS/HIF‐1α/NF‐κB pathway, leading to caspase‐3‐mediated apoptosis.

Deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH) markedly cuts heart and left lung radiation doses during left‐sided breast cancer radiotherapy. The normal tissue complication probability (NTCP) model further confirms lower predicted cardiopulmonary toxicities versus free breathing (FB), potentially improving patients’ quality of life.

ABSTRACT Radioresistance remains a key barrier in breast cancer (BC) treatment. Baicalein, a flavonoid from Scutellaria baicalensis, has shown potential to enhance radiosensitivity. This study investigates its efficacy and mechanism in radioresistant BC models. Radioresistant BC cell models were established via fractionated irradiation and validated by

The harmful ultraviolet component of sunlight necessitates reliable and wavelength‐selective personal UV monitoring technologies. Here, thermally evaporated CuBr thin films enable dual‐mode UV dosimetry through persistent photoconductive and colorimetric responses arising from charge trapping and surface oxide formation.

Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review
Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.

Lymphoma is a group of blood cancers that can appear in lymph nodes, blood, bone marrow, spleen, liver, or the central nervous system, which makes drug delivery and disease monitoring difficult. This review summarizes how nanomedicine technologies may improve targeted treatment and imaging, while carefully separating approved or guideline‐supported ...

ABSTRACT In plasma medicine and biological applications, plasmas typically deliver a complex combination of reactive chemical species and multiple physical energy components. However, establishing a unified and comparable dose metric to characterise their integrated biological effects remains a major challenge that continues to limit progress in this ...
