KIF26B plays an important role in kidney development. We engineered mice lacking the C‐terminal region of KIF26B and found severe kidney defects, including bilateral renal agenesis, similar to full Kif26b knockout mice. The mutation disrupted nephron progenitor condensation and reduced Gdnf‐Wnt11 signaling, showing that the KIF26B C‐terminal region is ...

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Methods for Investigating Magnetoreception in Honeybees: Toward Testing the Radical Pair Mechanism
Honey bees (Apis mellifera) serve as a compelling model for studying magnetoreception, as they are able to navigate over distances of up to 10 km, and prior behavioral studies indicate they possess magnetic sensitivity. However, the underlying neural and biochemical mechanisms of magnetoreception remain largely unresolved.
