Radio Continuum Observations of the Nucleus of our Galaxy and Other Normal Galaxies [PDF]
The radio properties of the nuclei of normal galaxies have been reviewed by Ekers (1974, 1978a, 1978b) and of the Galactic Centre by Oort (1977). In this report I will concentrate on material available since then. The following paper by Van der Hulst extends this review with more information on the structure of the central sources in normal galaxies. No

Radio continuum surveys and galaxy evolution: modelling and simulations [PDF]
We predict the evolution of the radio continuum sky at 1.4 GHz from the Horizon-AGN Adaptive Mesh Refinement (AMR) cosmological hydrodynamical simulation of a cubic volume of the Universe 100h−1 Mpc on a side. With empirically motivated models for the radio continuum emission due to both star formation and Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), we estimate the ...

Radio continuum emission in ring galaxies
Radio emission was found in two (Arp 118 and Arp 148) of 27 ring-type galaxies searched with the NRAO interferometer to a detection limit of about 10 mJy at 11.1 cm. These two were also observed at 6 cm with the higher sensitivity and resolution of the VLA.

ABSTRACT The discovery of radio‐quiet, x‐ray thermally emitting isolated neutron stars (XINSs) in the ROSAT All‐Sky Survey revealed a previously overlooked component of the neutron star population. Advancements in x‐ray instrumentation and the availability of deep, wide‐area optical surveys now enable us to explore XINSs at fainter x‐ray fluxes and ...

The radio structure of radio-quiet quasars [PDF]
We investigate the radio emitting structures of radio-quiet active galactic nuclei with an emphasis on radio-quiet quasars to study their connection to Seyfert galaxies. We present and analyse high-sensitivity VLA radio continuum images of 14 radio-quiet quasars and six Seyfert galaxies.
