Experimental investigation of plasma instabilities by Fourier analysis in an electron cyclotron resonance ion source

open access: yesPhysical Review Accelerators and Beams, 2018
The plasma instabilities play an important role in an electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) ion source for the production of intense heavy ion beams in high charge states for particle accelerators.

Enhancing Corrosion Resistance and Mechanical Strength of 3D‐Printed Iron Polylactic Acid for Marine Applications via Laser Surface Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.

Radio Spectrum Observations and Studies of the Solar Broadband Radio Dynamic Spectrometer (SBRS)

open access: yesUniverse
Solar radio spectral observation is one of the essential approaches for solar physics research, which helps us study the plasma dynamics in the solar atmosphere.

Application of low-temperature plasma for the removal of copper chloride layers on bronze Wares

open access: yesHeritage Science, 2023
Archaeological objects based on copper alloys (such as bronze wares) usually suffer from “bronze disease” that results from the existence of CuCl on the surfaces.

Elinvar Materials: Recent Progress and Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Elinvar materials, exhibiting temperature‐invariant elastic modulus, are critical for precision instruments and emerging technologies. This article reviews recent progress in the field, with a focus on the anomalous thermoelastic behavior observed in key material systems.

Using 3D Ray Tracing Technology to Study the Disturbance Effect of Rocket Plume on Ionosphere

open access: yesAtmosphere, 2022
In this paper, the initial neutral atmospheric parameters, background ionospheric parameters and geomagnetic field parameters of the ionosphere are obtained by NRLMSISE-00 model, IRI-2016 model and IGRF-13 model, respectively. Considering the neutral gas

Diffuse steep-spectrum sources from the 74 MHz VLSS survey

open access: yes, 2011
Galaxy clusters grow by a sequence of mergers with other clusters and galaxy groups. During these mergers, shocks and/or turbulence are created within the intracluster medium (ICM).
