Decentralized Searching of Multiple Unknown and Transient Radio Sources with Paired Robots
ABSTRACTIn this paper, we develop a decentralized algorithm to coordinate a group of mobile robots to search for unknown and transient radio sources. In addition to limited mobility and ranges of communication and sensing, the robot team has to deal with challenges from signal source anonymity, short transmission duration, and variable transmission ...

A search for radio pulsars in globular clusters, supernova remnants and transient X-ray sources [PDF]
We present the results of a targeted search for radio pulsars in globular clusters, supernova remnants (SNRs) and transient X-ray sources. 85 globular clusters, 29 SNRs and three transient X-ray sources were observed in the course of the search, during which four pulsars were found. For each object searched, the sensitivity limit is given. The four new

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

A Possible Periodic Rotation Measure Evolution in the Repeating FRB 20220529
Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are mysterious millisecond-duration radio transients of extragalactic origin. Some of them repeat, while others apparently do not.

Fermi-LAT results on Galactic Plane gamma-ray Transient Sources [PDF]
The Large Area Telescope on the Fermi gamma-ray Space Telescope provides unprecedented sensitivity for all-sky monitoring of gamma-ray activity. It has detected a few Galactic sources, including 2 gamma-ray binaries and a microquasar.

A radio survey of supersoft, persistent and transient X-ray sources in the Magellanic Clouds [PDF]
We present a radio survey of X-ray sources in the Large and Small Magellanic clouds with the Australia Telescope Compact Array at 6.3 and 3.5 cm. Specifically, we have observed the fields of five LMC and two SMC supersoft X-ray sources, the X-ray binaries LMC X-1, X-2, X-3 & X-4, the X-ray transient Nova SMC 1992, and the soft gamma-ray repeater ...

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Multiwavelength Observations of the Apparently Nonrepeating FRB 20250316A
The physical origin of fast radio bursts (FRBs) remains uncertain. Although multiwavelength observations have been widely conducted, only Galactic FRB 20200428D is associated with an X-ray burst from the magnetar SGR J1935+2154.

A Survey for Transient Astronomical Radio Emission at 611 MHz
We have constructed and operated the Survey for Transient Astronomical Radio Emission (STARE) to detect transient astronomical radio emission at 611 MHz originating from the sky over the northeastern United States.
