99Tcm-MAG3: Problems with radiochemical purity testing
Nuclear Medicine Communications, 2000The radiochemical purity (RCP) of 99Tcm-MAG3 was determined using solid-phase extraction (SPE), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and thin-layer chromatography (TLC). The difference between the HPLC and SPE methods was highly significant (P < 0.001), yielding values for RCP of 94.4 +/- 1.4% and 86.0 +/- 5.1% [corrected] respectively (mean +/

Radiochemical purity of99mTc radiopharmaceuticals
Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry Letters, 1995Some factors which could adversely affect the integrity of eight routine99mTc radiopharmaceuticals have been investigated. The radiochemical purity of the preparations was determined both under “standard” (reconstitution according to the manufacturer's instructions) and under “experimental” conditions (higher contents of longlived99Tc and copper).

Radiochemical purity control of radiolabeled drugs
The International Journal of Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 1982The risk of using only TLC in the radiochemical purity analysis of a radiolabeled drug is shown on the example of butoprozine. The combination of TLC and HPLC gives much better certainty. In case of impurities, HPLC can be used for purification.

Chromatographic determination of radiochemical purity
Nuklearmedizin, 2010SummaryThin layer chromatography is well established for quality control of radiopharmaceuticals. A convenient and widely used stationary phase are ITLC SG strips. However, the Pall Corporation stopped manufacturing of the silica gel impregnated glass fibre strips (ITLC SG).

Radiochemical Purity of Tritium Exchange Labeled Barbital
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1962Barbital (diethylmalonylurea) was isotopically labeled with tritium by the Wilzbach gas exposure procedure. The specific activity of the tritiated barbital was 266 mc./Gm. after removal of labile tritium. The following criteria of homogeneity were employed: recrystallization to constant specific activity using 2 solvent systems; column liquid-liquid ...
