Development of MDM2‐Targeting PROTAC for Advancing Bone Regeneration
This work presents a creative pipeline for developing MDM2‐targeting PROTACs (MDM2‐PROTACs) for application in bone regeneration. The developed PROTACs (CL144 and CL174) are validated for their degradation efficiency and osteogenic effects in human BMSCs.

Y-Net for Chest X-Ray Preprocessing: Simultaneous Classification of Geometry and Segmentation of Annotations [PDF]
Over the last decade, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have emerged as the leading algorithms in image classification and segmentation. Recent publication of large medical imaging databases have accelerated their use in the biomedical arena. While training data for photograph classification benefits from aggressive geometric augmentation, medical ...

Caries detection enhancement using texture feature maps of intraoral radiographs
Dental caries are caused by tooth demineralization due to bacterial plaque formation. However, the resulting lesions are often discrete and thus barely recognizable in intraoral radiography images.

Eosinophils play a crucial role in the progression of temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA). This study demonstrates that eosinophils, induced by OVA/IL‐5, promote Lumican secretion in the synovium, which binds to Annexin A1 in chondrocytes, inhibiting transforming growth factor β2 and Smad2/3 phosphorylation.

Abstract Electron beam melting (EBM) has been used to fabricate three‐dimensional (3D) porous Ti‐6Al‐4V surfaces for acetabular cups in total hip arthroplasty. However, there are radiographic concerns regarding poor implant fixation and bone ingrowth around electron beam melted (EBMed) 3D porous cups.

Gallic acid (GA) and copper ions self‐assemble to form nanoparticles, which are then modified with mitochondrial targeting peptides and gap junction modulator. These nanoparticles scavenge mitochondrial reactive oxygen species to induce M2 polarization and enhance intercellular mitochondrial transfer.
