Persilylated and Related Silyl Anion‐Induced Synthesis of Group 3–10 Metal–Silyl Complexes

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Persilylated and related silyl anions serve as powerful tools for constructing metal–silyl complexes across group 3–10 elements. Their strong σ‐donating ability and steric bulk stabilize low‐coordinate, reactive species and enable unique bonding motifs.

High Fatigue‐Resistant Photoswitches Based on iridium(III)‐DTE Systems

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Coordination to iridium(III) enhances fatigue resistance over multiple photoswitching cycles in diarylethenes. This metal coordination modulates photoresponse relative to the free ligands under identical irradiation conditions, opening new avenues for practical applications.'' ABSTRACT A series of four differently substituted nonsymmetrical ...

Photochemical Generation and Spectroscopic Characterization of Parent 3‐Iminooxetane and 3‐Oxazoline From 3‐Azidooxetane

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Two previously uncharacterized heterocyclic imines, 3‐iminooxetane and 3‐oxazoline, are generated simultaneously by irradiation of 3‐azidooxetane under matrix isolation conditions. The infrared spectra provide reference data for future gas‐phase studies and may facilitate their search in the interstellar medium.
