Automated radiosynthesis of [18F]ciprofloxacin

Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2015
We transferred the previously published manual synthesis of [(18)F]ciprofloxacin (decay-corrected RCY: 5.5±1.0%) to an automated synthesis module (TRACERlab(TM) FXFDG, GE Healthcare) and observed a strong decrease in RCY (0.4±0.4%). When replacing the standard 15-mL glassy carbon reactor of the synthesis module with a 3-mL V-shaped borosilicate glass ...

Radiosynthesis of 18F-labeled d-allose

Carbohydrate Research, 2019
Rare sugars are defined as monosaccharides that exist in nature but are only present in limited quantities. d-Allose is a rare sugar that has been reported to have some unique physiological effects. The present study describes suitable synthetic procedures for novel rare sugars of d-allose that are 18F-labeled at the C-3 and C-6 positions and the ...

An efficient radiosynthesis of [18F]fluoromisonidazole

Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 1993
An efficient preparation of the hypoxic cell tracer [18F]3-fluoro-1-(2'-nitro-1'-imidazolyl)-2-propanol ([18F]fluoromisonidazole) is reported. This radiopharmaceutical is of interest to probe hypoxic tissue in infarcts and tumors. One-step radiolabeling and rapid protection group removal provided 55-80% yield in 50 min. The process is similar to common
