Data‐driven observability analysis and enhancement for radome slope estimation with constraints on impact angle and terminal acceleration

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 10, Page 1887-1907, October 2024.
The authors propose a data‐driven observability analysis method for radome aberration estimation systems with LOS‐angle‐only measurements, and an observability‐enhanced guidance law that considers both impact angle and terminal acceleration constraints.

Availability evaluation and optimisation of advanced receiver autonomous integrity monitoring fault detection and exclusion considering temporal correlations

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 10, Page 1966-1979, October 2024.
An availability optimisation method of ARAIM FDE based on dynamic budget allocation is proposed to achieve strong integrity monitoring performance. The performances of the baseline algorithm and the proposed method are simulated. Abstract The Advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (ARAIM) provides an Aircraft‐Based Augmentation System ...

Effect of salt concentration on osmotic potential in drying soils—Measurement and models

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Soil Science, Volume 75, Issue 5, September–October 2024.
Abstract The water potential in drying soils, comprising both matric potential and osmotic potential components, can be measured using the dew point method (DPM). By combining DPM data with retention curve data acquired from techniques such as the suction plate method or the simplified evaporation method (SEM), it becomes possible to determine the soil

RAIM Algorithms Analysis for a Combined GPS/GALILEO Constellation

open access: yes, 2005
How far a user can rely on his navigation system is a central question for safety of life applications like air navigation especially in approach phases. For Oceanic, En route or Non Precision Approach phases, the integrity requirements as defined by

A novel integrity monitoring method for slowly growing errors in inertial navigation system/global navigation satellite system integrated navigation system

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 434-447, March 2024.
The authors proposed an integrity monitoring method of integrated navigation for slowly growing errors in civil aviation. The proposed method shows the feasibility for En‐route based on civil aviation and effectiveness on slowly growing errors and large measurement noises.

Review of the Predictive Value of Biomarkers in Sepsis Mortality

open access: yesEmergency Medicine International, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
Sepsis is a leading cause of mortality among severely ill individuals, primarily due to its potential to induce fatal organ dysfunction. For clinicians, it is vital to have appropriate indicators, including the physiological status and personal experiences of patients with sepsis, to monitor the condition and assess prognosis.
