Under simulated hydrothermal vent conditions, Ni⋅Co bimetallic catalysts supported on silica convert CO2 and H2O into key metabolites such as formate, methanol, and ethanol. Water plays a critical role in CO2 adsorption and product selectivity, shaping catalytic performance across both liquid and gas phases.

The Effect of Color on Consumer WTP for Farmed Salmon
Atlantic salmon is recognized for its pink-red color. The color is due to deposition of color pigments in the muscles. Wild salmon absorb the pink-red color pigment astaxanthin from the crustaceans they eat. To impart the pink-red color in farmed salmon,

Non‐Continuous Iridescent Variable Structural Color Based on Metallic Surface Periodic Structures
This study presents an ink‐free laser nanofabrication technique that generates periodic arched microstructures on titanium surfaces, achieving non‐continuous iridescent dual‐color switching. The ridge and side flanks of these structures possess distinct oxide film thicknesses, enabling angle‐dependent selective reflection of specific wavelengths.

The impacts of biological invasions
ABSTRACT The Anthropocene is characterised by a continuous human‐mediated reshuffling of the distributions of species globally. Both intentional and unintentional introductions have resulted in numerous species being translocated beyond their native ranges, often leading to their establishment and subsequent spread – a process referred to as biological
