Climate change effects on biomass and greenhouse gas emissions are ameliorated by nontoxic endophytes in southeastern USA transition zone tall fescue pastures

open access: yesGrassland Research, EarlyView.
Tall fescue produces more biomass and less carbon dioxide from the soil when it contains its beneficial fungal endophyte. Increased temperatures projected with climate change reduce fescue biomass, while altered rainfall frequency does not. Altering rainfall frequency and increasing temperatures can reduce carbon dioxide emissions from soil.

Curing Perovskite Photovoltaics With Organic Functional Molecules: Progress, Mechanism, and Prospect

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Materials, EarlyView.
Leveraging the advantages of precision‐targeted design, excellent chemical stability, diverse geometric configuration, and economic viability, the application of medicinally derived organic functional molecules can accelerate curing multiple problems in perovskite photovoltaics, not only promoting synergistic effects among the functional layers, but ...

Green swans and blue skies: Climate change and insolvency risk for financial institutions

open access: yesInternational Insolvency Review, EarlyView.
Abstract This lecture in honour of the late Gabriel Moss QC and Ian Fletcher QC examines the challenge of climate‐related financial risk. Prudential regulators and central banks recognize that the systemic nature of climate‐related financial risk makes it an emerging vulnerability relevant to cross‐border insolvency resolution.

open access: yes
Sorghum and castor-based systems are the major rainfed cropping systems of Southern Telangana region of A.P., India. The productivity of these systems is very low (around 0.5 t ha ) due to low and variable rainfall and nutrient poor soils.
