[Phytotoxic properties of Ralstonia solanacearum lipopolysaccharides].

Mikrobiolohichnyi zhurnal (Kiev, Ukraine : 1993), 2014
The study is dedicated to research of phytotoxic properties of Ralstonia solanacearum lipopolysaccharides. This causative agent is one of the most dangerous among potato bacterial diseases. It is revealed that the inhibitory effect of LPS solution on seedlings germination is more noticeable on crops susceptible to brown rot.

Chair’s Perspective: Diversity of Ralstonia solanacearum

1998
R. solanacearum exhibits a great degree of both phenotypic and genotypic diversity. This session comprised five papers which addressed issues of overall diversity within the species, microdiversity of various subgroups of the pathogen, namely the biovar 2/race 3 phenotype causing brown rot of potato and the strains that infect banana, and the diversity

[Monosaccharide composition of Ralstonia solanacearum lipopolysaccharides].

Mikrobiolohichnyi zhurnal (Kiev, Ukraine : 1993), 2013
Results of monosaccharide analysis of Ralstonia solanacearum lipopolysaccharides of the strains of different geographical origin are shown. Such monosaccharides as glucose, rhamnose and glucosamine prevail. Following the results of analysis, strains with supposedly truncated O-polysaccharide are revealed.

[Serological characteristic of lipopolysaccharides of Ralstonia solanacearum].

Mikrobiolohichnyi zhurnal (Kiev, Ukraine : 1993), 2012
By immunochemical investigations of eight strains of Ralstonia solanacearum six strains were attributed to four serogroups. Two of them are formed by pairs of R. solanacearum strains 4 and 526; 758 and 7954; two others are represented by single strains--TX1 Ta TS3, correspondingly. Antigenic structure of R.
