AI-RAN: Transforming RAN with AI-Driven Computing Infrastructure

open access: yesIEEE Communications Magazine
The radio access network (RAN) landscape is undergoing a transformative shift from traditional, communication-centric infrastructures towards converged compute-communication platforms. This article introduces AI-RAN which integrates both RAN and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads on the same infrastructure.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

TRANSITION TO INNOVATIVE ECONOMICS ON THE BASIS OF «ROAD CARD»: EXAMINATION, EVALUATION, PROSPECTS

open access: yesМодернизация, инновация, развитие, 2016
The innovative economics model is examined in its interaction with the environment that includes such components as science, society, state, education, business and market as well as safety and court systems. Three main RF economics innovative and active

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.
